01 CONNECT: Step Out!
Step out by attending our worship service in-person or online. Come as you are and experience a dynamic and intimate time of worship and practical Biblical teaching. Get to know the God who loves you and connect with people who love you too.
02 GROW: Step In!
Step in by giving your life to Jesus in response to the Gospel. Grow in your walk with the Lord through personal devotions, Sunday worship, and meeting with others in small groups AKA Life Groups.
03 SERVE: Step Up!
Step up by discovering your unique SHAPE (Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experiences) and plugging into ministry opportunities with the guidance of the pastor and ministry leaders.

Our Staff
Brad Sumner
Lead Pastor
Brad has been our Pastor since the fall of 2019 and began vocational ministry way back in 1995! He has a passion for preaching the Word and leading people into the life-changing presence of God. Brad and Meagan are the proud parents of two awesome young adult children who are currently attending university! Meagan is a caring and organized school-teacher and plays a key role in our Kids Ministry program. Brad gets really excited about all manner of sports and cheers hard for the Raptors and Blue Jays. He enjoys ministry but really loves to get his hands dirty too!
Gillian Thornback
Church Life Coordinator
Gillian and her husband Jeff have been a part of WRPC for a bunch of years. They are very happily married and have three adult children. Gillian enjoys fashion (especially shoes), being organized, sports, campfires, and McDonalds! She brings a ton of ministry experience to this role and loves to see God at work in others. For her, life is relationships. She is all about caring for people and helping them realize their value to the Lord. As Church Life Coordinator, Gillian fosters community and engagement while overseeing our Welcome and Hosting Teams, Life Groups, and inviting people to serve in ministry.
Emma Sumner
Youth Director
Emma stepped into this role in the fall of 2025. She is a recent graduate of Redeemer University with a degree in Applied Social Sciences. Emma has put her education to use by working with children and youth in the education sector, parachurch ministries, church programs, and now here at WRPC. She enjoys chai tea lattes, the Sound of Music, Puerto Rico, corn on the cob, and watching the sunrise (when she wakes up in time). Emma is excited to lead the students of Anchored Youth and to connect with students in the community!
